I just finished this image and I thought I would show some earlier stages of the process.

I started with this idea of this woman emerging from the Tetris game and into our world.
She would be the personification of Tetris.

I then wondered if there should be 3D blocks falling around her so I jumped into Maya and created this:

And then i thought maybe she should be walking on blocks like she was inside the game

But in the end I went with the original idea of a 2D-tetris game in the background :)

Movie still

Another movie still.
I never did a painting with just an opaque brush before... the experiments continue =p

Movie still

Here I tried to see what would happen if I used the same chalk brush as I did in the last painting of the building.
Obviously I wasn't able to keep it as loose.
I do find it interesting to use mostly one brush throughout a whole painting just to see what happens.

Its from mad men.

Environment study

I'm doing some experiment with brushes and filters.
I often think my buildings, and environments in general, are a bit stiff.

Photoshop shortcuts using Autohotkey

I made this Autohotkey script years ago and I wanted to share it.

Autohotkey makes it possible to remap keyboard shortcuts to buttons on your keyboard.
So ctrl-z can be Numpad button 1 for example.

Below you can see how I have it setup on my own keyboard.
Thats my numpad, and arrow keys ;)

The script is easy to change. Just open it with Notepad.
And say you want Brush to be on Numpad 8 instead of 2 you change this line.
Numpad2::Send b ; Brush
Numpad8::Send b ; Brush

Hope that makes sense.

I also set flip horizontal to F3, and smudge to N in Photoshop, since they don’t have keyboard shortcuts be default

You need to download Autohotkey
And here's the script

Feel free to ask me any questions =)
